Meet our staff! These are the leaders that keep this station going.

Wes Muilenburg – News Director

Wes is back for a second year as news director, not that anyone noticed. He looks forward to broadcasting the crushing pressure of existence to you all over the airwaves, and hopefully doing a little bit to alleviate it. In his free time, he edits the Lifestyle section of the UNW Examiner, writes for and edits Ear Coffee, the local music blog he co-founded, works in theater, and cries often! He would like to thank his three cats, Lucky, Stuart, and Olivia, for supporting his news-based endeavors. Listen to the Ear Coffee podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever.
Jireh Jaramillo – Relations Director

Hey, there! My name is Jireh Jaramillo and I’m a Public Relations student at UNW. I’m currently acting as the Social Media Director of The Remnant! I’m really excited to put into practice some of the skills I’m being taught through this position.

Aside from catching me working on the Remnant you can also find me embracing my inner grandma at the Knitting Club on campus I help lead.

Bryce Bennyhoff – Productions Director

Hey there! I’m Bryce Bennyhoff, just a friendly neighborhood junior at the University of Northwestern – Saint Paul. I’m currently pursuing a Media Production major with a minor in Theater. I’m honored to have the role of production manager on the student radio station, The Remnant. Some of my greatest passions are radio, film, and theater. I also really enjoy playing piano, reading, and watching movies
Amanda Gattorna – Music Director

Hi! My name is Amanda. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your crazy busy day to check out The Remnant! While you’re here, I would love to introduce myself to you. I am a senior Public Relations student with a minor in Media Production. Until I graduate in May 2020, my goal is to learn how to be an amazing Program Director at a Christian radio station. Music has always been a passion of mine, and it goes hand-in-hand with my passion for music that glorifies God and is positive for you as you listen to it! I have two favorite bands: Skillet and for King & Country.
Before you go, I would love to meet you! You can email me at or message me on Facebook!
