Northwestern’s Basketball Team gathered at President Hoornbeek’s house on October 13 to celebrate the beginning of the season.

Homemade food, games, and the indoor basketball

court entertained the guests through the afternoon.

Pumpkins, a bonfire, and apple cider created a festive fall spirit.

 

 

 

The players enjoyed the event. Peter Norby, a junior player, said he liked the opportunity to bond with the team outside of practice.

After the event finished, President Hoornbeek expressed excitement for the upcoming season.

Overall, the basketball kickoff event marked the start of an exciting season. The players are excited to play their first game on November 9, at Hamline University and are grateful to have support from Northwestern’s leadership.
