With only two weeks left before Thanksgiving break and four weeks until finals, this can be one of the craziest times of the semester for students at Northwestern. Thankfully, there are some exciting events on campus this weekend, so you can take a quick study break. Check out the options below for some fun ideas.

This is the last weekend to see a performance of UNW Theatre’s Peter Pan, a Musical Adventure. With shows every day from Wednesday, November 10, through Saturday, November 13, there are plenty of opportunities to see this wonderful show. Tickets are still available, so get yours today!

Find some friends and join UNW Core for a night of fun at SkyZone this Friday, November 13. Meet at the STUD at 9:30 p.m. and get ready for a great time. For only $15 (plus $1 for transportation), this would be the perfect way to start the weekend.

Commuters, tickets are still available for A Christmas Carol at the Guthrie. Join other commuters and see the Guthrie’s updated performance of a beloved Christmas story. Students can purchase tickets for $12, and transportation is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The deadline to get your ticket is this Friday, November 12, at midnight, so get yours soon. Visit Commuter Life’s Instagram bio for more details.

Catch both the men’s and women’s basketball teams this weekend as they play against the College of St. Scholastica. On Saturday, November 13, the women’s team will play at 3:00 p.m., and the men’s team will play at 5:00 p.m. Come cheer on your favorite team!

UNW FORCE, along with Student Government, Commuter Life, Global and Local Engagement, and UNW Core, will be hosting a week of thankfulness, starting on November 15 through November 19. Catch them in the Billy Atrium from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on those days for fun events to remind students of everything they have to be thankful for leading into Thanksgiving break.

No matter what is on your calendar for this weekend, study hard and take a break from homework to spend some time with friends or doing something you enjoy.
