Morgan had a plan for after graduation.

Little did she know that God had another plan in mind for her.

Today Morgan Tolly is an Admissions Counselor here at Northwestern.

Tolly graduated from Jordan High School in 2016. She was a PSEO student at UNW prior to attending. Originally, she did not want to come to UNW, changed her mind after talking with the chair of the communication department.

Tolly majored in public relations and minored in event planning. After graduating in 2019, she went straight to event planning. She worked for the downtown Saint Paul carnival and other event planning companies. Unfortunately, COVID-19 hit, and she lost her job.

But God opened another door for her. Northwestern’s director of admissions reached out to Tolly about a job opening. Like all of us, we sometimes question God’s plan for us, and so she hesitate. But, we all have to pay the bills, so she applied and got the job – and now she loves it.

“Great people and a great environment,

will make you love a job.”

Morgan Tolly – UNW ’19

Tolly loves working as an admissions counselor. She loves connecting with people and hearing their stories. She enjoys working with high school students and hearing their stories and dreams for after high school. She has no plans to go anywhere for right now, but someday she’d like to work with families of adopted children. When this journey begins is yet to be determined.
