Straight out of your childhood memories, CORE will be bringing the wonder of Christmas activities past to you!

Stop by the STUD on Monday, December 13 from 7-9 p.m. to unwind and take a break from studying for finals. Enjoy festive Christmas music while making tie blankets, decorating cookies and drinking hot chocolate.

1. Tie Blankets

Have you ever made or wanted to make a tie blanket? Now you can! CORE is partnering with Global Local Engagement (GLE) to allow you to make two blankets; one for yourself and one to donate.

Just picture it. You’re wrapped in your new tie blanket, drinking a warm beverage as you sit by the STUD fireplace on a snowy – maybe! – Monday evening. You’re in your happy place.

2. Cookie Decorating

Bring out your inner child and get creative by frosting delicious bakery cookies. CORE will provide red, green and white frosting with loads of seasoning sprinkles. Prepare to stuff yourself with holiday goods!

3. Hot Chocolate Bar

As you cozy up by the STUD fireplace with cookie crumbs on your new blanket, take a sip of heavenly hot chocolate. Add marshmallows to make the drink your own.

You are now peaceful, cozy and fulfilled as you face your finals with a happy, confident attitude.

Stress eating helps.
