University of Northwestern – St. Paul hosts its annual Five16 Film Festival on April 11 at 7 p.m. Tickets went on sale February 8. The festival features five short film categories: comedy, animation, music video, documentary and drama.

Attendees take advantage of the professional photographer to show off their red-carpet wear.

Activities in the lobby open at 6 p.m. and doors open at 6:15. Attendees can strut a red carpet, take photos at Five16 branded backdrops and enjoy popcorn. A professional photographer will be available for photos.

Five16 is a fun way to celebrate the creativity of UNW students as well as see what’s next in the entertainment industry. The festival brings something for everyone, film critic and film buff alike.

Melissa Clutter, Five16 Festival Coordinator

An awards ceremony follows the films. Attendees can participate in audience choice awards. The festival is judged by faculty and alumni of UNW as well as other industry experts.
