Drapetomania – the overwhelming urge to runaway ( I hope you guys never experience drapetomania….)

Pluviophile (I have friends who melt over this word, and I can’t blame them…)  – A lover of rain, someone who finds joy and peace of mind on rainy days

Psithurism – the sound of wind through the trees

Hiraeth – a homesickness for a home to which you cannot return

Meraki – to do something with soul, creativity or love; to put something of yourself into your work

Hygge – the complete absence of anything annoying or emotionally overwhelming

Petrichor – the scent of rain on dry earth

Matutine – just before the dawn

Selcouth – unfamiliar, rare, strange, and yet marvelous
