- Quarter 2: Eagles 39 – Wildcats 21
- Quarter 3: Eagles 56 – Wildcats 39
- Quarter 4: Eagles 70 – Wildcats 53
The first quarter was the most dominant for the Eagles as they would build a lead as big as 20 points. While it was cold outside, UNW was on fire during the quarter. They shot lights out as they hit 64 percent of their shots from the field, including 66 percent from the three point line.
The second quarter saw the Eagles slow down a little bit on the shooting, however they were still hitting their shots from the three point line, shooting 50 percent in the second quarter. At the end of the first half, UNW entered the locker room leading 39-21.
Going into the third, the Wildcats were now the ones to come out firing. They went on a 8-0 run early in the third. The Eagles were able to extinguish the fire as they traded buckets for buckets with the Wildcats. This would be the only quarter the Wildcats would outscore the Eagles.
In the fourth quarter, both teams would battle it out, scoring 14 points a piece. In the end, the Eagle’s first half was too much for the Wildcat’s second half.
Overall, the Eagles shot 52 percent from the field, while making 52 percent of their threes. Lexi Hagen and Hailey Paup led the Eagles in scoring as they both put up 12 points a piece. Megan Roberts was right behind them with 10 points.
