The MEL is partnering with First Avenue this fall to promote upcoming concerts from Christian artists at their iconic venues. Upcoming shows include Gable Price and Friends, Hulvey, Jervis Campbell and Judah and the Lion. In addition to the legendary First Avenue mainroom, they also book shows at the Fine Line, 7th Street Entry, Turf Club, Palace, and Fitzgerald theatres. Listen to the MEL for chances to win tickets to these upcoming shows:

Gable Price and Friends kicks things off at the Turf Club on Thursday, September 17. His recent single Too Good has ignited quite the viral cultural moment. Fans have created their own clips and verses and helped the song generate millions of views. He’ll be performing with Stephen Stanley. Tickets are $25.

Hulvey takes over the mainstage at First Avenue on September 20th along with special guests Indie Tribe and Kijan Boone. According to Hulvey’s press materials, his music delves into themes of thankfulness, maturity and comfort that reflect the peace of mind he currently inhabits. In the five years since signing with Reach Records, Hulvey has released his debut, self-titled album, Christopher, to widespread acclaim and toured nationally – welcoming a season of newfound success filled with transformative moments. His reverence for God is inextricably linked to his upbringing in Southeast Georgia, where Hulvey was steeped in an all-encompassing church life. His new album is called Could Be Tonight and includes hit singles Automatic and Rooftop.

Another MEL favorite singer-songwriter, Jervis Campbell plays the Fine Line on September 30. His anthemic rock songs feature themes of both hope and struggle, drawing from his own experiences and day-to-day life. His debut album Onward and Upward has generated more than 25 million streams. His new album Good Grief features hits True North, Give & Take, Stuck in these Clouds and A Light in Me.

Judah and the Lion headline First Avenue on Friday October 16.  It’s their first time back in the Twin Cities in two years. They just released a stunning new album called I am a Prism. The songs reflects transformation, hope and submission.

Band member Brian McDonalds says they use their music “to propel us through hard things in life and shoot us forward into a more hopeful space. Getting to that space isn’t always easy, but we always come back better for it.” Judah Akers adds “We wanted to get back to the ‘why’ of when we first started making music together. We do it because we want to help people. That’s the heart behind this. A lot of this record is trying to connect the thread between our beginnings and this point.”
